FISSURE responded to accusations of delayed prize payments
Tournament operator FISSURE has commented on allegations of prize payout issues, assuring that all financial obligations to teams will be fully met.
The discussion was sparked by a statement from Complexity Gaming manager Graham “Messioso” Pitt, who reported that several esports organizations are experiencing difficulties receiving prize money for tournaments organized by FISSURE in 2025. He stated that teams are even having difficulty receiving a response from the tournament operator, and payment deadlines have long since expired.
It’s currently very difficult to receive payments from them for tournaments that took place last year. Many teams are having trouble even receiving a response, and all prize money is long overdue.Graham “Messioso” Pitt
In response, FISSURE confirmed the problems but emphasized that they were temporary. Company representatives stated that they had already contacted Messioso to clarify the details and attributed the delays to “temporary difficulties with the payment infrastructure and banking procedures.” However, the operator noted that it could not publicly comment on specific amounts or the status of individual payments due to confidentiality.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are currently experiencing temporary issues with our payment infrastructure, which we are actively working to resolve. Unfortunately, this may impact the timing of some payments.FISSURE
In the summer of 2025, rumors of financial problems at FISSURE were already circulating, but the company denied them. A new tournament from the operator is expected, and over time it will become clear whether the company is truly experiencing difficulties or is still capable of continuing to organize tournaments.
