Anubis has become one of the most balanced maps in CS2 after Season 4.

Anubis, the Counter-Strike 2 map, has become one of the most balanced in the game since Season 4. This is confirmed by recent analytical data from FACEIT, which compares win rates before and after the start of the season.

According to infographics published on FACEIT’s official social media pages, before the update, the Terrorists had a significant advantage with a 52.8% win rate, while the CTs won 47.2% of matches. After the changes in Season 4, the situation has become significantly more balanced:

  • Terrorist side – 50.5%
  • Special forces side – 49.5%

As a result, the difference between the sides was reduced to a minimum of 1%, which is a rare statistic for maps with an active competitive scene.

FACEIT also revealed the sample size: the analysis is based on approximately 15,566,862 rounds played. With an average match length of 20 rounds, this equates to approximately 778,000 complete matches played on Anubis after the update. These numbers make the statistics highly representative and confirm that Valve’s changes have truly achieved their goal of creating a competitive map for both the public and professional scene.
