Thorin: “PARIVISION will never make it to the playoffs of a major”

PARIVISION emerged as the big winners of BLAST Bounty Winter 2026 after a very one-sided final. The team crushed the Falcons 3-0, leaving no doubt about their current form.

Following the final, PARIVISION’s success became a hot topic among analysts, including Duncan “Thorin” Shields and Alex ” Mauisnake ” Ellenberg, who expressed highly critical opinions despite winning the tournament.

Thorin: “This roster will never make it to the Major playoffs”

Thorin noted that even with this success, he doesn’t believe in Jami ” Jame ” Ali and this roster long-term. He believes no version of this team, including Jame, will ever reach the Major playoffs.

He explained that Jame was deservedly criticized at the beginning of CS2. Thorin believes Jame used an outdated command style from CS:GO, which had numerous problems. Even when Jame had stronger players in the past, his teams still failed to achieve great results.

Thorin also said that part of PARIVISION’s current success is due to teams being unaccustomed to playing against Jame. Because he’s been insignificant for so long, opponents forget how dangerous his unexpected positions and slow playstyle can be. He compared it to playing against a very unique player: teams struggle at first, but once they adapt, Jame’s teams usually fall off the wagon. This is why, in Thorin’s opinion, teams led by Jame never remain elite for long periods.

Mauisnake: “They won’t win a single game in the playoffs”

Mauisnake partially disagreed, stating that PARIVISION could reach the Major playoffs. However, he firmly believes they will never win a single playoff match at a Major.

He explained that when teams reach the playoffs, they prepare much more thoroughly. When top teams study PARIVISION properly, they’ll understand how to beat them, similar to how NAVI handled FURIA at the last Major.

Mauisnake added that PARIVISION could surprise teams in the group stage, especially those that have never played against them before, such as G2 or Aurora . However, he cautioned that now is not the best time to “buy PARIVISION stock,” hinting that their peak may be short-lived.
